Portuguese Grape and Fig Crostini


Ingredients:

1 baguette, sliced. 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil. 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese. 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1 cup seedless grapes, halved. 1 cup fresh figs, quartered.

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush each slice with extra-virgin olive oil.

Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

In a small bowl, mix together the crumbled goat cheese, chopped walnuts, and chopped parsley.

Once the baguette slices have cooled slightly, spread the goat cheese mixture onto each slice.

Top each crostini with a few grape halves and fig quarters.

Serve the crostini as a delicious and unique appetizer that showcases the best of Portugal's delicious fruits.
